My love affair with Milan just keeps getting deeper! You can find me in my usual pink tutu, flitting between stunning fashion shows, soaking up the elegant atmosphere of the ballet theatres, and getting lost in the labyrinthine streets – all while making sure I'm capturing it all for you, my dear readers!

This week, I'm thrilled to be sharing a delightful smorgasbord of pink-hued happenings in Milan:

This week, I swapped the graceful steps of the ballet studio for the equally graceful swish of a Milanese tram! You can't explore this amazing city without hopping on a tram – it's an essential part of the local culture and, frankly, a whole lot of fun!

It's amazing how you can find yourself transported from a bustling marketplace to a quiet residential street in just a few minutes. It's almost as if the tram itself is a character in the grand ballet of Milanese life. Of course, no pink tutu aficionado can resist a photo op, so you'll find me on Instagram, pouting by the tram doors! ?

The trams here have this incredible energy – it's like being on a moving stage! Imagine: A ballet dancer poised and graceful, the cityscape a fleeting background as you whisk past. For this pink-loving ballerina, there's nothing more magical.

And while the tram may be the "workhorse" of Milan's transport system, for longer journeys, I simply must rave about the sheer magic of taking the train. Picture this: a plush carriage, soft sunlight dappling through the window, and me, of course, in my glorious pink tutu, surrounded by captivating Italian countryside – a truly dreamy experience, isn't it?

And speaking of journeys…

Tonight, I'm back to my true calling: the ballet! ?

A special, exclusive invitation led me to the prestigious Teatro alla Scala – you simply cannot visit Milan without stepping into this cultural icon! And this is what we are talking about when we talk about truly embracing theatre! The grand, baroque architecture, the shimmering chandeliers, the whisper of velvet, the excitement crackling in the air before the curtain rises, all makes you feel as if you've stepped into another world! It's pure, elegant enchantment!

Tonight, the stage is set for the magnificent Giselle - a timeless masterpiece that explores love, loss, and, yes, of course, the beauty of ballet.

And let me tell you, my dears, the sheer grace and passion of the dancers - every movement, every gesture, a perfect illustration of the emotions of the story! It's breathtaking to watch! And all this, framed by the iconic stage design and opulent architecture of La Scala. Honestly, I just stood there for a while, simply absorbing it all – it's that kind of an experience.

But the real treat came afterwards, behind the curtain, where I got a sneak peek into the lives of the dancers. A fascinating world where strength, resilience, and sheer artistry all combine to create something magical! It was exhilarating to chat with the dancers, to hear them talk about their passion for this incredible art form – a passion I deeply understand!

Of course, my camera was clicking madly. This behind-the-scenes glimpse will be going straight up onto Pink Tutu Milan – you simply can't miss this little window into the incredible lives of these ballet legends.

Now, let's be honest: no trip to Milan would be complete without a little shopping spree. Right?! ? And let me tell you, my darlings, Milan is a shopper's paradise! I love the vibrant energy of Milan's fashion districts. There's so much colour, so much creativity – everything's in bloom! And as for the stores? Let's just say my pink tutu found some exquisite companions. ?

The Italian designers are at the forefront of the fashion world – their flair for colour and elegant shapes are a pure delight to behold. From vintage shops tucked away on quaint side streets to flagship stores bursting with avant-garde creations, Milan offers a whole spectrum of sartorial adventures.

Today, I had the absolute pleasure of discovering a charming boutique on Via della Spiga. They are absolute masters of exquisite accessories! I managed to snag the most gorgeous vintage pink beaded bag that I've just got to show you on my Instagram! ✨
