Milan's ballet scene is alive and kicking! On this particular Wednesday, my week got a whole lot more magical when I headed to the Teatro alla Scala to witness the sheer brilliance of The Royal Ballet performing Romeo & Juliet! Oh my goodness, I'm still breathless!
Imagine this: The world-famous Scala, bathed in the warm glow of golden lights, the exquisite sound of the orchestra swirling around you, and then, a masterpiece of choreography unfolding on stage. The dancers' expressions, their breathtaking movements - it was pure ballet bliss. You could feel the raw emotion and the delicate artistry weaving through each step and pirouette. And, as if by some divine magic, I actually spotted some fellow pink tutu wearers amongst the audience - such an amazing sight!

And, naturally, every great trip needs a sprinkle of deliciousness! I treated myself to some traditional Milanese risotto, a dish that truly showcases the city's passion for flavours. Oh, it was pure culinary heaven! (Tip: Don't be shy to ask for the local "Gorgonzola Dolce" cheese on top - it elevates the whole experience!)
