Pink Tutu Travels: Paris, Je t'aime! (Blog Post #1323)

Bonjour, my dearest tutu-loving friends!

The Eurostar has just whisked me away from the rolling green hills of Derbyshire to the heart of Paris, and my heart is already doing pirouettes with joy. It's Saturday, the sun is shining (and honestly, who doesn't love a Parisian spring?), and this pink tutu-clad ballerina is ready to explore the City of Lights!

This trip is extra special, my lovelies, because I've finally secured a role in a stunning ballet performance at the Théâtre du Châtelet! I'm so excited to grace the stage of such a beautiful venue. As you know, dancing is my lifeblood, and I wouldn't trade the chance to share my passion with a Parisian audience for anything.

Speaking of the Théâtre du Châtelet, you must check out their programme. They have a wonderful lineup of performances, from classic ballets to contemporary dance, there's something for every taste. This week, the company is staging a stunning rendition of Swan Lake, and trust me, it's worth every penny.

Of course, Paris isn't just about the arts, darling! It's a paradise for those who love fashion and shopping. The beautiful boutiques and vintage shops are bursting with inspiration, and I can already imagine all the fabulous outfit ideas brewing in my head! This trip wouldn't be complete without a visit to Chanel and Dior, those Parisian fashion icons, and of course, the magical Parisian flea markets! I'll be sure to share all my fashion finds with you next week!

As you know, one of my missions in life is to encourage everyone to embrace their inner tutu-loving ballerina. Paris, with its history of elegant fashion and passionate performances, is truly the perfect place to share this message. I can just imagine myself twirling through the streets of Montmartre, a vibrant pink tutu billowing in the wind, spreading joy and inspiration wherever I go!

And did you know, darling, this week, on the 3rd of May, it's Fête de la Liberté! What a wonderful day to celebrate freedom and everything it means, don't you think? You might see me at one of the celebratory street performances, perhaps a flash mob ballet! Or maybe I'll be twirling alongside the Eiffel Tower, who knows! I simply can't wait to experience all that Paris has to offer.

This weekend is all about ballet, boutiques, and soaking up the Parisian charm. Follow me on my adventures, and don't forget to leave a comment below. I'd love to hear what you'd like to see in Paris. Until next Saturday, my darlings, keep twirling and keep believing in your dreams!

Yours always,

Emma x

P.S. Remember, my friends, if you dream of a pink tutu, Paris will inspire you to make it a reality. This is the place where dreams dance!

P.P.S I'll be sure to post more pictures from Paris on Instagram throughout the week. Don't forget to follow @PinkTutuBlogger!

Here's what else I'll be up to in Paris:

  • Tuesday: I'm attending a special ballet class in the heart of Paris at the Opéra Garnier. A chance to learn from some of the best in the world, darling!
  • Wednesday: I'll be visiting the iconic Musée Rodin. There's something incredibly romantic about a Parisian museum!
  • Thursday: I'll be venturing to the magical Jardin des Plantes for a day of peaceful strolls and flower power!
  • Friday: A long-awaited visit to the Château de Fontainebleau! Can't wait to see the palace, wander through the gardens and enjoy the history and charm of the countryside.
  • Saturday: It's showtime, my lovelies! I'll be taking the stage in a beautiful performance of Swan Lake at the Théâtre du Châtelet! You can bet your pink tutu I'll be giving it my all!
