Pink Tutu Paris - Post #1324: Ooh La La, Paris! 🇫🇷💖

Bonjour from Paris, my lovely Pink Tutu followers! It's Saturday, the 10th of May, 2025, and the Parisian sunshine is positively dazzling! As I write this, I'm sitting at a charming little cafe in Montmartre, enjoying a delicious pain au chocolat (seriously, they make them like nowhere else in the world!), watching the street performers and soaking in the atmosphere. I feel like I'm truly living the Parisian dream.

You know how much I adore train travel, especially the Eurostar - it's so effortlessly glamorous and chic. I arrived yesterday morning, and the sheer thrill of rolling into Gare du Nord never gets old. I swear, I could have stayed there and watched the trains all day.

Now, for the all-important pink tutu situation. Well, I have to admit, I took a bit of a style risk this time. I packed my new, glittery lavender tulle tutu – think shimmery dreams and delicate femininity! The Parisian air seems to amplify the sparkle, and everyone I pass gives it a second glance, followed by a smile. It's working wonders already! Maybe Paris will inspire me to create a whole new line of tutus... lavender tutus, pink tutus with an Parisian flair… oh, the possibilities!

Speaking of inspiration, the cultural happenings in Paris this weekend are out of this world! First off, I absolutely HAD to catch a performance of Swan Lake at the Palais Garnier. The elegance and the precision of the ballet dancers were simply breathtaking! And don't even get me started on the costumes. I can't wait to incorporate some of the detail into my next performance outfit.

After the show, I of course had to hit up the Rue Saint-Honoré. It’s a shopper’s paradise. This afternoon I discovered this fantastic vintage boutique brimming with incredible tutus and theatrical outfits, some even older than me! Let's just say that a couple of very special pieces will be making their way back to Derbyshire with me, my fashion treasure hunt continues…

Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower! The views from the top are simply mesmerizing, and I captured some amazing photos with my new blush pink camera. Honestly, I think I could happily gaze out at the City of Lights forever.

Tomorrow, I have a full day planned, packed with more Parisian delights: A class at a beautiful ballet studio in the Marais district, a delightful picnic by the Seine, and a magical stroll through the Louvre – hopefully, it's not just as packed as I remember it being back in my university days!

As for the Pink Tutu movement, it's slowly but surely catching on in Paris! I've spotted a few sparkling, tutu-wearing ladies while wandering through the city, and that warms my heart more than a flaky croissant. Maybe Paris is on its way to being the most fabulous tutu-loving city in the world!

Keep checking back next Saturday for more Paris adventures! Until then, keep spreading the joy and rocking those tutus. I’m going to try and squeeze in a little photo session for next week’s post in the Louvre (think the Mona Lisa looking pretty surprised to be joined by a very fabulous ballerina in pink tulle).

Stay sparkly! 💖✨

Love,

Emma x

Let's expand on that story. How about some of the following elements:

  • More detail about Emma's performances and funding. What type of shows does she perform in? What other artistic or community events is she involved in? Does she do some teaching on the side?
  • Specific details of the Parisian locations Emma visits. Let's get a sense of the charming little shops, hidden squares, and romantic streets she explores.
  • Add some playful banter with imaginary followers. Emma could be commenting on specific things her readers have shared on social media or asking them about their experiences in Paris or ballet.
  • Introduce more local food and delicacies. We can add a delicious culinary journey into the mix.

Remember to stay consistent with the "Pink Tutu" tone: fun, feminine, positive, and encouraging. It's all about sharing a love for tutus, Paris, and life's beauty! 💖✨
