Bonjour mes chéries! It’s Emma here, your resident Pink Tutu enthusiast, back from the magical City of Lights, ready to share all the Parisian delights from my trip! As you all know, Paris is a city I hold dear to my heart. The chic vibes, the delectable croissants, and the ballet - oh, the ballet! - always beckon me back to its cobbled streets. And this trip, thanks to my wonderful EuroStar journey, was no different.
This week, I'm dedicating this post to all things Pink and Parisienne, from exploring iconic landmarks in a fabulous pink tutu to experiencing the magic of Parisian theatre and, of course, indulging in the finest Parisian shopping! My Parisian Adventure Starts with the Eurostar!
The journey to Paris, as always, started with my favourite train - the EuroStar! I can't say enough about how smooth and comfortable the journey is. From my doorstep in Derbyshire, it whisked me away in a matter of hours. I always travel in style, of course, sporting my pinkest tutu, complete with a coordinating pink scarf for the chill of the Eurostar carriages. The staff were lovely, so friendly, and the views gliding past were utterly charming. The whole journey is pure magic!
My First Paris Stop - A Breathtaking Performance!
Upon arriving in Paris, my first order of business, as any discerning ballerina would do, was to catch a spectacular performance! You won’t believe who I saw this time… It was the legendary [insert ballet company name], with a breathtaking rendition of [insert famous ballet performance] ! I was completely swept away by the stunning choreography and the dancers' exquisite technique! Oh, and the costumes! Just wait until you see my outfit inspiration photos from the show, it’s totally going to give you that Parisian chic.
Paris by Day: Walking in a Pink Tutu Through City History
My day in Paris was filled with sightseeing and lots of photo ops - all, naturally, in my signature pink tutu. A visit to Paris wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower, a timeless Parisian landmark. But you know what? It looked even better with me striking a ballet pose at its foot! Then I was off to the iconic Champs-Élysées. Let me tell you, even with my Tutu swishing dramatically as I walked, it was the perfect backdrop for my pink and playful fashion shoots. The beautiful boutiques and Parisian flair made me feel like I had stepped straight out of a fashion magazine.
Paris by Night - Illuminations, Theatre and Twirling!
The Parisian nights never fail to mesmerise! The City of Lights lives up to its name, the golden glow reflecting off the Seine, illuminating all the landmarks with breathtaking beauty. We strolled by the river, stopping to marvel at the illuminated Notre Dame, soaking up the Parisian charm. But my night wasn’t just about beauty, it was also about adventure! I discovered a charming local theatre showcasing a ballet performance featuring some dazzling contemporary choreography and truly talented dancers. It was a perfect blend of elegance, artistic expression, and an inspiring performance that reminded me of the power of the ballet. The show left me brimming with inspiration for my own creative projects, which, as you know, involves even more pink tutu outfits!
The Most Exquisite Parisian Treats - Shopping and the Pinkest Pastry!
A trip to Paris isn't complete without indulging in some luxurious shopping, and my favourite stop was the Parisian boutique - [insert favourite store] – I found the most exquisite collection of clothes! From the sleek Parisian dresses, to elegant handbags and shoes, everything oozed French elegance! Oh, and I simply couldn't leave Paris without trying the most delightful macarons from the iconic pastry shop – [insert Parisian pastry shop name]. Every flavour I tried, from the classic rose to the delectable raspberry, was a delight, perfectly capturing that exquisite Parisian touch.
Parisian Life, Love and Everything Pink
But it’s not just the sights, sounds and shops of Paris that captivate me. It’s the overall sense of romance and beauty that seems to permeate every corner of this magical city. Even the everyday feels elegant here – sipping coffee in a charming café, enjoying the lively bustle of a Parisian street market or strolling along the Seine with its spectacular views. And throughout it all, I felt myself embracing the pink life - I've got the feeling you’ll see lots of my Parisian Pink looks in upcoming blog posts!
