Bonjour mes amies! 🇫🇷 It's Saturday again, and you know what that means... it's time for a brand new #PinkTutuBlogParis! I'm so excited to share my adventures from the City of Lights with you. 🗼 This week, I took a splendid trip by EuroStar to Paris, which of course, I made absolutely fabulous by wearing my pinkest tutu and some stunning feather boas. The whole train carriage had eyes on me! ✨
A Love Affair with Parisian Ballet
My reason for this magical trip? To catch a performance by the Paris Opera Ballet! Oh, darling, let me tell you, these ballerinas are truly exceptional. The graceful movements, the breathtaking costumes, the powerful storytelling – it was a night I’ll never forget. 🩰 The venue itself, the Palais Garnier, is a work of art. All that opulence and grandeur – it made me feel like a princess.
Afterwards, I made my way to a quaint little shop by the Seine, "La Boutique Rose", to pick out some new ribbons for my tutus. They have the most gorgeous array of pinks imaginable, darling! You know I can't resist! 💗
Pinkalicious Paris
Speaking of pink, have you noticed the lovely shade of blush pink on the walls of the Parisian shops? It’s everywhere – from bakeries to boudoirs, giving the whole city a très chic atmosphere! 🌸 I even saw a man with a pink baguette, which, naturally, inspired my outfit for Sunday - a gorgeous cherry-pink tulle tutu with matching pom-poms, topped with a delicious “bread” inspired beret! 🥖
Fashion-Forward Frolics in the French Capital
Of course, no Parisian adventure would be complete without a little fashion shopping. Darling, you wouldn't believe the fabulous outfits I found in the Marais! Think Parisian elegance with a touch of vintage charm. My pink obsession, however, was firmly met in a tiny little boutique near the Louvre, “Rose & Blush”, which had everything my heart could desire – shoes, bags, jewellery… all in that beautiful soft pink hue! 💖
The Best Bites of Paris
My love for French cuisine is truly immense, so you can imagine my delight at having croissants for breakfast every day! And no trip to Paris is complete without a leisurely afternoon by the Seine, watching the world go by and sipping a decadent café au lait. I found the most charming little cafe, tucked away in the Latin Quarter called “Le Petit Gâteau”, which served delicious raspberry macarons that matched my perfectly pink outfit - a stroke of pure genius!
Making Friends in Paris
Being a pink-tutu-clad ballerina definitely gets you noticed in Paris, darling! I struck up a lovely conversation with a couple of adorable little girls outside Notre Dame who told me they were having a ballet lesson. My heart melted – there’s something so sweet and inspiring about young girls discovering their love for dance! We even took a photo together. They told me I was the prettiest ballerina they'd ever seen. 😊
Parisian Musings
Paris, darling, is truly a city that stays with you. The cobbled streets, the quaint little cafes, the endless artistry – I can see why this city inspires artists, dancers, and lovers alike. It’s a magical blend of tradition and modernity, and it fills my heart with happiness and joy! 💖 I know you're probably wondering, “But Emma, did you meet any pink-tutu-wearing ballerinas?" Well, darling, my quest continues!
Pink Tutu Inspiration
This journey has inspired me to write a whole new blog post, about finding your own Parisian style! I'll share my fashion finds and tips for looking like a true Parisian princess. Stay tuned, darling, because next week I’ll be sharing all the secrets on how you can channel your inner Parisian flair, even if you don't have a pink tutu!
Don't Forget!
Remember, my beautiful followers, pink is more than just a colour – it’s an attitude, a celebration of life! I truly believe that wearing a pink tutu makes the world a more beautiful place, and I encourage you all to find your inner pink-tutu-wearing self, whether it's on a train journey or simply walking down the street. 💕
Until Next Time!
Stay fabulous, stay pink, and always remember – life is too short to wear dull colours! 😘
