Pink Tutu Travels - Paris Calling! #PinkTutuBlogParis - Post 1340! 🩰🇫🇷

Hello, darling readers! It's Emma, your favourite pink tutu-clad travel blogger, back with a brand new post, direct from the most romantic city in the world - Paris! Oh, how I love Paris! This city is like a ballet performance itself; graceful, elegant and oh so chic! And this weekend, my tutus and I have come to twirl in this city of lights!

As always, I journeyed to Paris by the ever-so-charming EuroStar, which is simply the most glamorous way to travel. Imagine - speeding through the English Channel, surrounded by elegant travellers and breathtaking landscapes, and all whilst wearing my darling, dusty pink tutu. The journey was as magical as stepping onto a stage in itself.

This weekend is extra special because there are just so many exciting things happening in the city. You know me - I love my art, my ballet, and of course, a spot of shopping! Let's get down to the nitty-gritty!

Saturday Sparkle - Parisian Adventures Await!

Saturday morning dawned bright and beautiful in Paris, and I simply couldn't wait to start my Parisian adventures! Firstly, a delightful breakfast at a cafe just off the Champs-Élysées was the perfect way to start. With a latte and a croissant, the world felt like it was sprinkled with sugar.

Then, I made my way to the Centre National de la Danse for the day. It's the perfect location to lose myself in the world of ballet, whether it's enjoying a show or attending a ballet class. I chose to treat myself to a masterclass with a world-renowned teacher – it was divine! I always feel my ballet improves after spending time in the capital of dance!

Now, I'm sure you know my rule – every day in a new city, I wear a different pink tutu. Today's selection was a gorgeous silk tulle number that danced in the sunlight, just like me!

After a delightful lunch at a quaint Parisian restaurant (one with pink napkins, of course!), I embarked on an afternoon of Parisian treasure-hunting! You know I adore the elegant vintage boutiques of Paris. Today's prize was a pair of pearl-adorned ballet flats – perfect for twirling around the cobblestone streets of Montmartre!

As dusk began to fall, I found myself strolling down the Seine River, admiring the stunning lights of the Eiffel Tower reflecting in the water. It felt as if I was in a fairytale! After taking a few photos, my inner-dancer started bubbling over. So, naturally, I took advantage of the golden light and the stunning backdrop to practice a few ballet moves! Let’s just say it was a magical moment!

Dinner with a French Flair!

Tonight, dinner is going to be an event! My dear friend Sylvie, who lives here in Paris, recommended a charming little bistro in Saint Germain des Prés, which is supposed to be famous for its traditional French food and the most exquisite wines. It’s one of my favourite Parisian haunts. Sylvie is a fantastic dancer and I love her company; she always shows me the most magical hidden corners of the city!

Tonight's look was my fluffy, tulle princess tutu. I simply adore how it looks paired with a black velvet ribbon belt and a simple, elegant blouse. The combination is perfect for an evening in the City of Lights, and I’m sure to turn a few heads with the sparkle of my tiara, which will catch the lights of the bistros beautifully.

Sunday Strolls and Parisian Secrets

The highlight of Sunday in Paris will, of course, be a ballet show! I will be seeing a special performance of Giselle, at the Palais Garnier. It’s one of the most incredible theatres I've ever been to - it’s full of golden, gilded details that give you the feeling of a royal palace, making it absolutely perfect for a romantic evening out. There's even a secret backstage story about an infamous Phantom of the Opera! I've always wanted to wear a mask like his! And to top it all off, it will be absolutely breathtaking watching this timeless story brought to life with beautiful choreography and costumes, I can't wait!

My outfit today? You know what’s coming, darlings! This time, a tutu in a soft rose shade, it just glows in the afternoon sun! This pink tutu was inspired by a French actress of the 1940s; the skirt has an incredibly elegant cut, just like in the films of that era! I adore its nostalgic style! It pairs perfectly with a soft silk blouse in a shade of dusty lavender. As you know, every outfit deserves a little je ne sais quoi , and mine comes from my darling, antique Parisian handbag.

After the show, a little bit of afternoon tea in the most elegant tea room I could find will be the perfect end to this incredible weekend. Maybe I'll even slip on my sparkling pointe shoes for a quick impromptu performance!

And I have an exciting secret - this Paris adventure wasn’t the only one I have planned! I’ve booked myself onto a tour with a travelling ballet company for the next few months, starting with performances in the gorgeous city of Vienna, and then onward to Rome and Lisbon! Just imagine - new pink tutus for every city and dancing amongst some of the most inspiring architecture! Oh, this year is truly turning out to be a pink and tutu-tastic dream!

The Magic of Paris!

Paris has been everything I dreamt it would be. There's so much to see, from the iconic Eiffel Tower to the cobblestone streets, it truly captures the imagination! The energy here is infectious. I've spent the last few days twirling, dancing and taking in the sights and sounds, and I'm sure I've made at least a handful of Parisian friends! The locals have been incredibly welcoming.

But the best part of all is knowing that the magical feeling of Paris will stay with me forever! It will be with me as I practice and dance, reminding me of the beautiful time I've had! I feel like a brand new person, refreshed, ready for anything!

But you know me – I’m always planning new adventures, and dreaming up new pink tutu outfits. And that is exactly what I shall do – so until next time, my darlings, remember to twirl and sparkle! Remember to be happy, have fun and share your passions with the world, even if that passion is, yes, you guessed it – pink tutus! Keep those tutus twirling and stay safe!

Au revoir, mes amis!

Bisous from Paris!

Emma.
