Oh la la, Paris! I've just arrived in the City of Love and let me tell you, my heart is already fluttering like a ballerina's tutu in a whirlwind.
This week's adventure is a special one. A trip to the fashion capital of the world - Paris! The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Seine River - I can practically smell the croissants and the artistic inspiration wafting in the air. I even managed to squeeze in a ballet performance at the Palais Garnier. You wouldn't believe the incredible costumes! Just like my dream dress - shimmering sequins and delicate tulle, oh so dreamy. I'm sure you'll all agree that Paris is the perfect place for a girl in a pink tutu!
Speaking of my journey, I made the most fabulous train trip over from Derbyshire. EuroStar - what a luxurious way to travel! I felt like a queen, enjoying the smooth ride and admiring the scenery flashing by the window. And the best part? My trusty pink tutu travelled in style in its own special travel bag!
It wouldn't be a true Parisian adventure without some fashion fun. Today I'm sharing a few snapshots of my fabulous Paris outfit:
- A gorgeous, floaty, bubblegum pink tulle skirt - it's practically begging for twirls!
- A simple, classic white T-shirt - perfect for showing off my signature pink tutu!
- A pair of delicate silver ballet flats - they make a soft click-clack with every step and feel just as light as feathers.
- My favourite bright pink beret - it's a little bit Parisian, a little bit sassy, and totally on-trend!
I couldn't resist popping into a few chic boutiques after lunch - there's just so much amazing fashion to explore here! I think I might have discovered the perfect pink feathered bolero - it's even more perfect for twirling in! There's a boutique called La Petite Couture which I found hidden away near the Eiffel Tower - a treasure trove of Parisian fashion.
As the sun started to set, I took a stroll along the Seine, enjoying the beauty of this iconic river. It was absolutely magical. Imagine, you've got the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the distance, a cool evening breeze in your hair, and the sound of laughter and music floating on the air - the perfect soundtrack to an evening in Paris. I’m already planning to take a river cruise later in the week to see the sights from a different perspective!
And of course, no Parisian trip is complete without indulging in some delicious food! My afternoon treat? Macarons - perfectly pink, of course. They were the perfect sweet and satisfying ending to a truly delightful day.
So what's next for this pink-loving, tutu-wearing traveller? I’m so excited to share more of my Paris adventures with you! Tomorrow I'm off to visit the Louvre, to see the Mona Lisa - perhaps she'll give me some inspiration for a new ballet piece! I might even try a few steps in the gallery... Who knows? Maybe I’ll even spot a street performance – and even better if I get to see a ballet show featuring street dance or street dance inspired.
And in between sightseeing, I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities to embrace the Parisian lifestyle – indulging in a bit of retail therapy and sipping coffee at a charming cafe. I’ve got my trusty sketchbook handy, you can be sure that I will capture every bit of Parisian charm, style, and inspiration.
