Bonjour from Paris, Mon Chérie! 💖 #PinkTutuBlogParis

Post #1369 – Saturday, 2026-03-21 – Exploring the City of Lights

Bonjour, darlings! It's Emma, your resident pink tutu-wearing ballerina, bringing you the latest from the magical city of Paris! I've arrived, and let me tell you, it's everything I dreamed it would be, and even more!

The Eurostar journey was pure bliss! As usual, I embraced the chance to dress in full ballerina regalia for the train – my favourite pink tutu with a matching sparkly top and pink ballet flats – all topped off with my pink feathered beret, of course! 🇫🇷

People smiled, children waved, and I even got a few 'bravos!' I think I've achieved my goal: Spreading the love for pink tutus one train journey at a time. 😉

The Eiffel Tower greeted me like a familiar friend as we pulled into Gare du Nord, her twinkling lights whispering promises of Parisian magic. Oh, the feeling! I felt like a ballerina ready to pirouette through the city, ready to explore all its treasures.

First stop: Shopping therapy! Let's face it, Paris is a paradise for those who love fashion, and I'm no exception! My favourite designer boutiques along the Champs-Élysées were calling to me – I knew a little splurge on some stunning new shoes, maybe a little pink Chanel for my tutu collection, was a must!

Feeling like a Parisian Princess 👸

As a pink tutu advocate, I had to find a true pink tutu haven in Paris. You won't believe this, darlings! There’s a magical little shop nestled in the heart of Montmartre called "La Tutu Rose." The owner, a sweet elderly lady with the kindest eyes and a mischievous smile, told me stories of famous Parisian ballerinas who graced their stages in these beautiful tutus. Oh, the stories I could tell!

My new pink tutu, a blush-pink confection with delicate floral embroidery, felt like it was made just for me. I swirled around the shop, my skirt swirling, feeling like a princess who'd stumbled into a magical, secret garden. The scent of silk and lace, the shimmering fabrics – it was absolute magic! 💖

Ballet Magic

Speaking of ballet, the reason I’m in Paris? Well, tonight is the night I see “The Sleeping Beauty” at the Palais Garnier! I’ve been saving for months, and oh my goodness, it’s everything I dreamed of. The Grand Opera House is a masterpiece in itself. The sheer grandeur, the shimmering chandelier, the anticipation in the air... The performance was incredible, breathtakingly beautiful and powerful. The ballerinas moved like poetry, their tutus like whispers of dreams. I swear I even cried a little.

This experience was just another reminder why I do what I do. To inspire, to share, to make others feel the joy of dancing, the wonder of a beautiful ballet.

Finding My Inner Parisienne 🥖

Of course, no Parisian adventure is complete without the food! Today was all about indulging in the city's most iconic delights. I enjoyed the most delicious quiche I’ve ever tasted – flaky crust, rich filling, topped with a mountain of parmesan. It was perfection.

Later, I indulged in a leisurely walk along the Seine, admiring the golden glow of the bridges and the elegant bateaux-mouches. The air buzzed with the sounds of music and laughter, and the smell of crêpes filled the air. I had a perfect strawberry and Nutella crêpe, savoring the sweet flavours and the Parisian ambience.

A Love for Pink Tutus… And Paris! 🇫🇷

This trip is proving to be every bit as magical as I'd imagined. The city has a special magic about it, that I could never explain. From the cobblestone streets to the charming cafés, from the grand monuments to the hidden little treasures, everything here is just a touch more romantic, a touch more captivating.

The city definitely has me dreaming of becoming a true Parisienne. But as long as I’m twirling, my pink tutu is sure to be by my side!

I’ll be back next Saturday, darlings, with more adventures, more pink tutus, and of course, more magic from the City of Lights! Until then, remember to embrace your inner ballerina, wear a pink tutu, and always, always, remember to be happy. 💖💖💖

Love,

Emma
