Pink Tutu Blog Paris: Bonjour from the City of Lights! (Post #1370)

Saturday, 28th March 2026

Hello, darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad blogger, Emma, reporting live from the most romantic city in the world - Paris! The City of Lights, the City of Love, the City of Baguettes (okay, I might be getting carried away). But seriously, Paris is simply magical, and I'm absolutely buzzing to share this incredible adventure with you.

This is my third trip to Paris, but every time I visit, it feels like I'm experiencing something completely new. It’s that sort of city. The smell of freshly baked croissants in the air, the cobbled streets lined with charming cafes, the bustling markets filled with vibrant colours – I'm completely enchanted.

Speaking of enchanting, let me tell you about the EuroStar journey here! It's been a tradition for me to travel by train to Paris - it's a delightful experience, especially when you're rocking a gorgeous pink tutu and a big grin on your face! (Of course, the sheer excitement of going to Paris helps too.)

The journey is so picturesque, and with the help of some strategically placed ballet barres in the carriage, I even managed a little practice on the train! Now, imagine my delight when I discovered a Parisian ballerina sitting opposite me, wearing a beautiful leotard and tutu! It felt like the universe was sending me a little sign - you know, like "keep twirling, Emma, it’s all meant to be."

The City of Ballet:

What better place to begin my Parisian adventures than at the Paris Opera? The grandeur, the history, the beauty – it took my breath away! This majestic building has seen countless legends, including the likes of Anna Pavlova and Rudolf Nureyev, and to stand in its shadow felt deeply inspiring. I'm already making plans to return for a performance. My biggest dream is to see "Swan Lake" at the Palais Garnier – oh, wouldn't that be divine!

After the Opera, I wandered through the heart of Paris, soaking in the atmosphere. From the towering Eiffel Tower to the charming little boutiques and markets, I couldn't help but take a thousand photos - although my camera roll is already exploding with Parisian pink.

A Pink Paradise:

Paris is truly a shopping heaven, especially for someone who has a fondness for tutus (who, like, doesn’t? Come on, guys!), ballet clothes, and of course, anything pink. I discovered the most delightful little boutique tucked away in a quiet corner, full of frilly tulle skirts and sparkly ballet flats - you can only imagine my squeals of delight! I left with not one, but two brand-new tutus - I simply couldn’t resist!

Today's Plans:

The day's not over yet! Tonight, I'm headed to a performance at the Theatre du Chatelet, showcasing a young contemporary dance company. They're renowned for their experimental style, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us. I’m wearing my brand-new sparkly tutu – think shimmery sequins, lots of pink and a flowing skirt – oh my! You bet I’ll be documenting every magical moment for my social media and here on the Pink Tutu blog.

Of course, I’ve already scoped out the nearby cafes and bakeries, ready to indulge in some post-performance treats. And let's be honest, I’m also keeping my eye out for any opportunity to embrace Parisian street style, whether it's rocking a beret or simply finding the perfect corner cafe for a whimsical afternoon tea.

So, dear readers, follow me as I explore the delights of Paris through my pink tutu-coloured glasses! Stay tuned for more Parisian escapades and my top tips for creating a magical, twirling adventure of your own!

Until next time,

Emma xx
