Now, let’s get the pink tutu chat out of the way first, shall we? This trip, Paris, demanded an extra special twirl-tastic ensemble. Imagine the most gorgeous blush pink tutu, a full-circle skirt, billowing in the breeze as I strolled through the Tuileries Gardens! It perfectly matched the cherry blossom season, and let me tell you, the photos were a masterpiece! 📸
Speaking of travel, my journey began aboard the glorious EuroStar. For a Brit like me, nothing beats a comfy, luxurious train journey. I always feel a thrill when that train rumbles into Paris Gare du Nord, a wave of excitement for the Parisian adventures ahead!
This week in Paris? Oh, where to even start? We’re in for a treat. It's April, which means cherry blossom season! Can you imagine, the Seine sparkling under the Parisian sun, with fluffy pink blossoms draping over every tree? 🌸 Absolutely breathtaking! And the weather is ideal, sunny, with a touch of Parisian charm in the air.
Paris wouldn't be Paris without a touch of theatre! Tonight, I'm heading to the Opéra Garnier for a performance of 'Swan Lake', by the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet. Imagine the sheer elegance of the Palais Garnier, lit up with golden chandeliers, and the music of Tchaikovsky! The experience is a perfect combination of opulence and sheer beauty.
Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without exploring its fashionable soul! This week, I'll be venturing into the hidden corners of the Marais district, where I'm searching for those unique vintage finds. Perhaps a chic, little black dress or a vintage Parisian hat, perfect for the Parisian nights. Don't worry, I'll be documenting my sartorial adventures with loads of pics and style inspiration for you on my website.
We can't talk Paris without mentioning the delicious food! I’m craving croissants for breakfast, indulging in Parisian cheese and pastries in the afternoon, and relishing the exquisite flavours of a three-course dinner at a cozy Parisian bistro! Who says I'm only here for fashion and ballet?! This girl can appreciate the fine art of dining, too. 😋
