Well hello there, my darling readers! Emma here, back with another exciting entry from the City of Lights, a place that truly makes my heart skip a beat (and my feet tap along to the rhythm of Parisian life)!
It’s Saturday, the 20th of June 2026, and the sun is shining bright – perfect weather for exploring Paris in all its glory! As you know, I’ve been dreaming of visiting this enchanting city for as long as I can remember. Ever since I first saw the Eiffel Tower shimmering on a black and white film, my Parisian fantasy began, and finally, I’m here, twirling under the magical, romantic Parisian sky.
You might be wondering how a little Derbyshire lass like myself ended up here in the French capital. Well, you see, dear readers, my passion for the arts, and particularly ballet, has given me a wonderful way to make my travel dreams come true. My performances, whether it's the graceful movements of classical ballet or the high energy joy of street performances, have provided the funds for me to step off the stage and into the beautiful world of travel.
And, speaking of travel, this journey wouldn’t have been the same without a ride on the magnificent EuroStar. There's something about those sleek trains that simply screams chic! It was an amazing experience zipping through the countryside, and I can’t help but feel like a princess, even with a bright pink tutu and my little pink suitcase strapped to my back.
After all, one must always arrive in style, don’t you think?
Pinktastic Parisian Adventures
Now, back to the wonderful city of Paris! Since I’ve only been here a few days, I’ve been busy absorbing every bit of magic that the City of Lights offers. It's truly inspiring, every cobbled street, every corner with its beautiful cafes, and even the magnificent parks! The beauty here is beyond words.
The Eiffel Tower – what a sight! I know it's a cliché, but standing below that impressive structure, its intricate framework reaching for the clouds, just takes my breath away. One of my favourite things about Paris is the atmosphere. It feels so alive and full of joie de vivre. It's hard not to be swept away by the charm of it all. And, you know I couldn't resist picking up a few Parisian fashion gems during my first trip to Galeries Lafayette. It's like a fashion playground in there, with the most exquisite clothes and accessories you could imagine. Just wait until you see my photos!
Speaking of Parisian adventures, tonight's schedule is pretty amazing! There's a show I just have to see at the Opéra Garnier. Imagine, my darlings! I'm going to see a full-length performance of "Swan Lake". You can just bet that I'll be adding my personal touch to my outfit for the night! I’m thinking my shimmering silver tutu, sparkling with a few of the most beautiful pearl embellishments I could find. After all, what’s a little Parisian magic without a sprinkle of pink and glitter, right?
Keeping it Real: Travel on a Budget
Now, before you think I’m just floating around Paris in a bubble of pure Parisian chic, I have to admit that I am keeping my budget in check. Travelling doesn't have to be an extravagance! You don't need to be a millionaire to have extraordinary experiences! I like to balance my trips with luxury experiences, like tonight's opera, and find amazing little places that truly capture the Parisian essence without breaking the bank.
Think cafes with breathtaking views where I can sip on delicious French coffee and watch the city wake up, markets bursting with colour and aromas, hidden corners where you can soak up the vibrant energy of the city, and stunning views of the cityscape, best enjoyed from a lovely park. These are the memories that stick with you long after the trip is over, the little gems that make a Parisian adventure so special!
Pink Tutu Style: Paris Edition
Now, let's talk fashion. I simply adore Paris! From the intricate embroidery in vintage shops, to the chic and classic styles on the streets, Paris is a haven for a true fashionista like me. But it's the combination of classic Parisian charm with a little dash of pink, oh, that's the perfect combination, right?
Of course, every day in Paris is a pink tutu day for me! But this week I have a few exciting pink outfits planned. I've been shopping, my darlings, and let me tell you, my Paris suitcase is overflowing with prettiness!
There are soft pastel pink dresses for strolling along the Seine River, shimmering pink tops to match the twinkle of the Eiffel Tower lights, and of course, a brand new pink tutu. And I promise, it’s the perfect Parisian princess tutu!
