The train ride here was a dream, filled with colourful fields, picturesque villages, and the rhythmic click-clack of the wheels on the tracks – it's like the perfect soundtrack to a ballet. As I write this, I'm perched at a tiny café in the Old Town Square, surrounded by fairytale-like buildings, their towers pointing at the cerulean sky. And to make it even more perfect, a local street musician is playing a hauntingly beautiful melody on his violin, the tune perfectly echoing my own feelings about Prague!
The Pink Tutu's Prague Adventure Begins
The minute I stepped out of the station, I knew I was in a special place. The air felt vibrant, alive, and as I weaved through the crowds of tourists and locals alike, I felt a surge of energy, excitement bubbling in my tummy. Of course, there had to be a little pink tutu in Prague – that's the way I roll! I'd carefully chosen a blush pink tulle tutu, so delicate and light, with sparkling crystal details that shimmered in the warm afternoon sunshine. Tonight's performance is a production of La Bohème at the Prague National Theatre, one of the most renowned ballet institutions in Europe! It’s so exciting, even the mere mention of its name evokes a sense of magic and elegance!
Imagine stepping into a grand, beautifully adorned theatre, a symphony of colour and intricate details! It’s like stepping into another time! The rich red velvet seats, the intricate chandeliers sparkling overhead, and the murmur of anticipation before the curtain rises. It’s like something out of a fairytale.
Shopping Spree for the Tutu-Lover
I have to tell you, this city is like a dream for fashionistas! There's a fantastic selection of boutiques showcasing gorgeous designer labels and unique independent designers. My senses were tingling with excitement! My mission? To find the perfect piece to complement my pink tutu ensemble for tonight’s ballet!
Wandering down the cobblestone streets of Old Town, I found a boutique full of beautiful, ethereal, and delicately detailed pieces! You see, finding the perfect accessory is as important as the perfect tutu. For me, fashion is about telling a story through your outfit, and today, the story I want to tell is one of Prague, a story of art, history, and dreams come true. I’m sure I’ve found it in a gorgeous, lace-trimmed ivory jacket, a delicate silver necklace adorned with crystal beads, and a pair of ballet flats with delicate lace details and pearl embellishments, of course, all perfectly complimenting my pink tutu. Now I’m just ready to go see the show!

Charles Bridge: What can I say? This magnificent structure, connecting the Old Town to Malá Strana (Lesser Town), is a must-visit for anyone exploring Prague. And with its beautiful statues and stunning views of the Vltava River, I couldn't help but pose for a few ballerina-inspired photos, with my pink tutu billowing behind me!
Prague Castle: A hilltop fairy tale! Perched high above the city, Prague Castle is a stunning complex of palaces, churches, and courtyards, filled with history and intrigue. Every stone tells a story of kings, emperors, and medieval beauty. Just be careful not to trip on your tutu as you ascend those grand steps to reach its magnificence!
Old Town Square: The beating heart of the city! I'm in love with this place! The Astronomical Clock, a marvel of medieval engineering, with its moving figures and whimsical astrological symbolism, brings the city's history to life! Plus, it's the perfect backdrop for a twirl in your pink tutu, just imagine!
