Hello, my darlings! Emma here, back from a whirlwind trip to Prague, the city that truly captured my heart (and, of course, my tutu). It's Wednesday, so you know what that means... another fabulous Pink Tutu adventure! This time, the destination is Prague, a city as charming and enchanting as a perfectly executed pirouette. I'm utterly smitten with the cobbled streets, the enchanting architecture, and the bohemian spirit that vibrates in every corner. But, let's face it, it's the ballet that really sets Prague alight!
This week, I wanted to share my love of Prague with you all. There's something about this city that makes everything feel so romantic and whimsical, and let's be honest, isn't that exactly what our little Pink Tutu world is all about?
Tutus Take Over Prague!
From the moment I stepped off the train, I was transported into a fairytale world. The city is bursting with stunning historical buildings, each more breathtaking than the last. The cobbled streets, adorned with cascading flower boxes, invite you to get lost in the charm, which is exactly what I did!
Of course, my trip wasn't solely focused on sight-seeing. You know me! This pink-tutu-loving girl needs to hit the stage - and Prague certainly delivered. The National Theatre is a truly impressive building, both inside and out. I was mesmerized by the grand architecture and the stunning performances. They are truly world-class, featuring both the traditional ballet repertoire and a modern touch. You could almost feel the passion of every dancer on stage!
Pink Tutus on Parade!
But my adventures didn't end with the grand stage! You'd think I would wear just the one tutu, wouldn't you? You know me, there is more than one outfit to wear when you are travelling. One of my highlights was exploring Prague's streets, decked out in my bright pink, frilled tutu. People definitely stopped and looked. It felt so liberating and empowering. Maybe I am actually living out my life's purpose... getting everyone wearing pink tutus. Maybe this trip would give me an opportunity to create the first ever Tutu shop! Prague, with all your beauty and inspiration, are you with me?
Fashion Frenzy!
Prague's fashion scene is a real gem! From independent boutiques to the beautiful window displays of the old town, there's a constant source of inspiration and, you guessed it, even more reasons to wear a pink tutu. The beauty of a tutu is its ability to be so versatile, from romantic and ethereal to bold and playful, a perfect match for this enchanting city.
Speaking of enchantment, my trip wouldn't be complete without indulging in Prague's sweet offerings! The Trdelník stalls, selling these scrumptious chimney cakes, are everywhere, and the smell is heavenly. They make for a perfect afternoon snack with a lovely cup of steaming hot chocolate - perfect for a girl who has just performed on the stage!

- Comfortable shoes are essential. Prague is a walking city! While I might be tempted to rock my favorite tutus everywhere, trust me, you will be in need of comfy flats!
- Pack layers. Prague's weather is unpredictable. A bright, sun-filled morning can morph into a blustery evening.
- A splash of Pink is key! Even if you don't want to sport a full tutu (but why wouldn't you?), a bright pink scarf or accessory is a must. A little pop of colour is always charming and, let's be honest, a lovely conversation starter.
