Bridgwater Bound: Pancake Tutu Adventures! 🥞🩰

Hello lovelies! It's your favourite pink-tutu-clad ballerina, Emma, reporting live from the beautiful Bridgwater! I'm absolutely buzzing with excitement today – it’s a special day because not only is it December the third, but it's also the day I’m wearing my brand new pancake tutu! 🥞🩰 You just know I had to have it, right?! It’s so cute and fluffy, it’s almost as good as actual pancakes! 😜

But before we talk about the pancake-y delights, let’s rewind a little. Today's journey to Bridgwater involved a rather glorious train ride. I am a firm believer that nothing beats a scenic train journey – the passing landscapes, the quiet hum of the train, and the endless supply of hot chocolate make for the most delightful travel companion! And, let's be honest, trains are much more fabulous than any stuffy aeroplane, don't you think? 🚄

As soon as I arrived, I popped into the quaint little tea shop by the station, 'Tea & Tutus', how cute is that?! They even have a tiny tutu-themed cake that looks just like a ballerina's dream. Of course, I had to try it (and maybe even a little slice for the road).

I'm in Bridgwater for the Bridgwater Ballet Festival, and let me tell you, it's HUGE! Think colourful dancers in flamboyant tutus (me, obviously!), stunning performances in all styles, from the classic ballet to street dance, and, my personal favourite, contemporary. They even had a performance inspired by nature and wildlife which included a herd of “ballet-loving” hippos and a family of elephants swaying their trunks in perfect rhythm. It was SO. MUCH. FUN!

Speaking of nature, the wildlife in Bridgwater is a joy to behold! This town is like a mini-Eden! I caught a glimpse of a majestic swan on the river, and the park was bustling with cheeky squirrels and playful birds – and I may have had a little dance-off with a flock of pigeons in the town square… let’s just say I out-danced them all, hehe. 😉

But back to the most important part: The pancake tutu! It is so fun, so girly, and so perfectly me! I even made a little Instagram video, twirling in the town square with my new creation – which got an enormous number of views, love you guys! 💕💖

Of course, no blog post would be complete without my daily dose of positivity and my plea for pink tutus! 🩰🌸 Let's bring a bit more sparkle and colour to the world, one tutu at a time, darling! You know what to do - head over to your nearest dancewear shop and get yourself a glorious pink tutu (preferably a pancake-tutu – they’re in stock for a limited time only!).

And for all my lovely ballet newbies, if you’re on the fence, just give it a go! You never know, you might just fall in love with the grace, the beauty, the passion that is ballet. 💖

So, until next time, stay radiant, embrace the joy, and don’t forget to twirl in your pink tutus! Sending lots of love and sparkles from sunny Bridgwater!

Much love, Emma xx
