Harrow, You're A Real Peach! 🍑💖

Helloooo lovelies! 🩰

It’s your girl Emma, back from a fabulous weekend in Harrow, and guess what?! You’ll never believe the tutu I wore – a food-themed marvel! 🌮🍕🍔

Let's be real, there's nothing quite like stepping into the carriage of a steam train, the rumble and clatter carrying me further away from the Derbyshire hills and towards my ballet dreams! It's pure magic, even more so with a suitcase full of tutus. This trip, it was a little different – a pink cupcake tutu, that's right, with layers of delicate tulle like the most divine icing! Imagine all the delicious possibilities, from caramel-coloured swirls to cherry-red ruffles... I couldn't resist a little dance at Euston Station before boarding, after all, a girl's got to show off her flair! 💖

Harrow was calling, not just for a beautiful performance of "Giselle" at the magnificent Harrow Arts Centre, but also for a delectable taste of adventure! Did you know they have a lovely little cafe called "The Cherry Bakehouse" right by the train station? They even have pink macarons, how delightful!

Of course, a food-themed tutu calls for some seriously foodie explorations! After an absolutely brilliant ballet show, filled with graceful pirouettes and emotive leaps, it was time to discover Harrow’s culinary treasures. Imagine my joy when I discovered a whole alley dedicated to artisan street food! I had delicious paninis with gourmet toppings, a tasty falafel wrap - and the most amazing, melt-in-your-mouth churros with a heavenly chocolate sauce! It was all so very "tutu good," pun intended! 😉

You know me, my heart belongs to nature as much as it belongs to ballet. The day after my "Giselle" adventure, I hopped on a horse-drawn carriage for a little expedition into Harrow’s beautiful Ruislip Woods. Let’s just say, the sights and smells of the springtime woods were like a ballet in themselves – a graceful swaying of branches, a colourful chorus of wildflowers and the sweet symphony of birdsong!

The peaceful stroll also gave me inspiration for my new dance routine – it's gonna be all about nature's magic and "Giselle" inspired moves. I'm even thinking of incorporating a little pirouette while leaping over a babbling brook, some relevé movements next to the blooming trees and perhaps some échappés amidst a flurry of butterflies!

The weekend wasn’t just about adventure and dance; I met some wonderful people – a friendly florist named Alice who makes the most stunning arrangements, all in shades of pink, of course, and a passionate dog walker who shares my love for both animals and dance! He even confessed he’s a secret ballet enthusiast. It makes me so happy knowing the love for ballet extends beyond the studio, right into the heart of this lovely town!

Harrow, you truly lived up to your name, a real peach of a place! It made me feel like I was in a ballet dream, a beautiful performance on a stage where life, dance and delicious treats all came together!

Oh, before I forget! I've just posted a brand new dance video on pink-tutu.com, post #10867, a beautiful little piece inspired by "Giselle" and the magical woodland that truly captured my heart this weekend. Check it out, darlings! 🩰💖

Remember, dance is for everyone – and wearing a pink tutu makes the world a more magical place! 🌎✨

Until next time,
Emma 💕
