Reaching Harrow: A Journey of Fashionable Glamour
I arrived in Harrow by train, of course. A train journey is like a mini-fashion show in itself! As you all know, I like to travel in style – I mean, who needs boring beige when you can rock a pink sequin-tutu top, glitter heels, and a pink feathered boa, right? I’m all about making a statement. The looks I received on the train were pure magic! People were snapping photos, whispering compliments, and even offering me seats in first class – what a dream!
The Grand Ballet at TheatroTech: A Magical Night
I headed straight for TheatroTech for a breathtaking performance of ‘Swan Lake’! It was divine. Those elegant moves, the intricate choreography, and the stunning costumes were pure magic! The atmosphere was electric with excitement. I always feel a touch of nostalgia watching the graceful ballerinas move across the stage - it takes me right back to my ballet club days at uni where I first became obsessed with tutus, remember? And guess what? There were even a few sparkly pink tutus on stage! It was pure bliss. 💖
A Pink Tutu Shopping Spree: The Perfect Gift
What's a trip to Harrow without a little shopping spree? It wouldn't be a proper Pink Tutu Sparkles trip without some retail therapy! I went wild at 'Tutus & Dreams', the most amazing store for all things pink, sparkly, and tulle. The store is a dream! And it's like they knew I was coming, darling! There were just so many beautiful tutus that screamed 'Pink Tutu Sparkles!' I found the most gorgeous pink and silver sequined tutu, just perfect for my upcoming performance in Derby – yes, I am finally heading back to Derbyshire!
Dinner at La Cucina: Italian Delight in a Pink Palace
Of course, after my shopping spree, I needed some fuel to keep this queen shining! I stopped by 'La Cucina', a delightful Italian restaurant with pink walls and even pink fairy lights. (Can you tell I’m a sucker for pink? 😉). It’s definitely a spot that knows how to treat its customers, with the kindest service and a mouth-watering menu that satisfied this queen’s inner gourmand!
Harrow - A Gem for Tutu Lovers
I can see why Harrow is becoming such a popular spot! It's filled with charm and hidden gems, much like a fabulous pink tutu waiting to be discovered. And don’t get me started on the people. So friendly, so welcoming, and so appreciative of a good, glitzy drag queen! I can't wait to return again soon! But for now, it’s back to Derbyshire for me. It's time for some rehearsal for my next show in a town full of history – Derby’s gonna see a pink glitter explosion of the century, baby! I’ll tell you all about it in the next post.
