Oh darlings! I hope this post finds you in a fabulous mood!
Stockport - it's the first time I've visited, and I've got to tell you, it’s a little bit of magic! A bit more industrial chic than a glitzy, glam city, which I absolutely adored! And guess what? Stockport, it's tutu-friendly, right up my street. Now I can't share specifics on venues (don't worry, I always do a fabulous job of respecting confidentiality, so your secrets are safe with me!), but lemme tell you, they really welcomed me in with open arms!
The trip began with a train ride, which was pretty scenic (and super peaceful, the kind of thing you'd expect on a railway line in the British countryside, full of pretty greenery and red brick tunnels), followed by a pint at the Station Hotel and some absolutely scrumptious pie and mash, and oh, my darling, let me tell you - a trip to the pie shop after that. You just know you’re going to enjoy an adventure when you have yummy treats in your belly, right?!
But back to Stockport, you see, I was invited to … wait for it! (because I love building the anticipation), I was invited to an extra special gathering. And this gathering was just magnificent! Now, you all know that I love to move (oh how my bones wiggle and shake, even when I'm sitting at my computer typing!) - so it involved all the fun of dance and entertainment, but more than that - this special gathering - was all about getting people in their best glitzy, glam outfits, because you know my friends - we're all about getting those fabulous tutus out!
I even convinced the whole crowd to have a big Tutu Twerking Contest. Now, I won’t go into too much detail because the show must go on! And by “show must go on” - what I mean is - I absolutely intend to return! I can already see myself adding it to my annual performance tour – perhaps in the springtime. Springtime means so much to me - it reminds me of ballet and ballerinas and just the sheer wonder of life! But, you know, it also means I have to add extra tutus to my travel bag! There’s always more need for tutu - in case anyone missed this life lesson!
My darlings - it's going to be a real blast - a fantastic combination of glamour, fun and fabulous frocks. You’re all so brilliant. It really does take a special person to wear a pink tutu (and the people of Stockport have more sparkle than most, don't they?!) I even saw a few fabulous pink tutus in the crowds - and lemme tell you, they were rocking it!! My work here is clearly never done, but hey, someone's gotta do it! And that someone is ME!
