I'm on my way to Bangor, the lovely city on the coast of Wales. I’ve always been a fan of seaside towns, so I’m absolutely thrilled to be gracing Bangor with my presence for the very first time! ✨
A Journey Steeped in Pink and Sparkle
The journey is part of the fun, and of course, there’s no way I’d be travelling without my trusty pink suitcase, packed full of tutus and sparkly treasures! You might be surprised, but I love the train journey. I love watching the world go by from the window, taking in the scenery, and dreaming of all the pink tutus I’m going to wear in Bangor. 🚄🌸
This trip to Bangor marks my 9659th blog post – it's just another milestone on my pink-tutu journey! It's been a whirlwind of tutus, travelling, and a whole lotta glitter since I started my little corner of the internet. I can’t believe it’s been this long – wow, what an adventure! 🥳
You might remember my first post (oh, back in the day!), where I was all about getting people to embrace their inner Pink Tutu Queen, and I feel like I’m actually getting there! Seeing all your selfies on Instagram rocking your tutus, and the smiles on your faces, honestly, it just makes me so happy! ✨
Pink Tutu Sparkles: More Than Just a Tutu
Now, some of you might think, "Oh, Pink Tutu Sparkles just dances around in a pink tutu, how exciting," but it’s SO MUCH MORE than that!
My whole drag persona is all about using pink tutus to spread joy and empower people. Think of me as a colourful antidote to a dull world! I love everything about this, from performing my sparkly dance routines to inspiring people to just… live. 🩰
I believe that life’s too short to take yourself too seriously. Wearing a pink tutu is my way of saying, “Go on, grab life with both hands! Get out there, shine your light, and don’t forget to have fun!” 😊
From Lab Coat to Tutu: My Journey of Self-Discovery
Some people are surprised to learn that I’m also a scientist by day – a fabric testing whiz! 😅 That's right, by day, I work in a lab testing different materials and their strength and properties, while by night, I'm busy twirling and sparkling. 🧪
My passion for science and drag is more intertwined than you might think. It all started with the pink tutu I bought for charity during university. I was a member of the university ballet club and my love for ballet goes hand-in-hand with my love for all things pink! ✨
So, if you’re wondering how a science geek like me turned into Pink Tutu Sparkles, the answer is, I’ve always been a bit of a sparkly, tutu-loving weirdo! 😅 It’s been an amazing journey of self-discovery and self-expression, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 💖
From London to Bangor: The Great Tutu Train Ride!
This week I’ve been touring around the UK with my shows, with lots of lovely people from all over the country rocking out with me! London’s been fantastic – I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of theatre, right?! 🎭
Now, the time has come to head to the coast for a spot of seaside fun. And for my grand journey, nothing will do but the train! 🚂 It’s my favorite way to travel.
I don’t drive, and honestly, who wants to be stuck behind a steering wheel when you could be gazing out at the countryside and imagining all the glitter you’ll sprinkle on the world once you get to Bangor? 😜
Plus, I just love that cosy, vintage feel of train travel, and it allows me to soak up all the scenery and chat with the lovely people around me, sharing stories about my love of pink and everything glittery. ✨

My Mission in Bangor
Speaking of glitter, my mission in Bangor is simple – to spread the love of the pink tutu, naturally! 💖
I’ll be hosting my performance at (insert name of venue in Bangor) which promises to be a night filled with dancing, sequins, and lots of Pink Tutu love. Expect a kaleidoscope of colors, some seriously spectacular routines, and, of course, the obligatory sprinkle of pink tutus for good measure! 🩰
I can’t wait to show you all my new dance moves (it’s all very “Ballet Street”, you know! 😄) and, most importantly, I want to inspire you all to be your most colourful and fabulous selves! ✨
