Edgware - Tutu Tales! #9663 🩰💖

Hey, darlings! Your TutuQueen here, back with another fabulously pink travel post! Today, I'm waltzing my way through Edgware, and lemme tell you, it's a real gem. I've gotta say, London's a bit like a big, dazzling ballerina, isn't it? It’s got the most fabulous theatre scene – oh, I do love a good ballet performance.

Speaking of fabulous, you’ve probably already spotted my latest dazzling pink tulle creation! I think it was a little too long, you know, getting dragged around the pavement - but luckily my trusty trusty trusty travel companion, Percy the Porpoise (my pink tote bag, duh!) came to the rescue, and saved me from any wardrobe malfunction!

This is what you call fashion, love! ✨ And trust me, it's all about a perfect pink tutu, the right shade for every occasion. Pink, after all, is just SO much fun - a whole world of bright colours just screaming for attention! I don’t know if it’s the pink, but whenever I step onto stage, in my tutus, in a puff of pink tulle - something incredible happens! Maybe it's magic - a magical swirling mix of confidence, glitz, glamour, and of course, some stunning choreography! It’s what happens when ballet, glitter and theatre all get together.

Anyway, back to Edgware. I found it really lovely - you know, I love a place with a bit of history. Edgware’s quite steeped in history, you know - the Romans had a Roman road here, way back in the day, all the way to the great Roman city of Verulamium - which is now called St Albans - you should definitely go visit, by the way.

Today’s fabulous show took place at The Edgwarebury Hotel – right in the heart of Edgware, darling. My pink tutus were a huge hit with the crowd – some folks thought it was a little much, but you know, let the haters hate – they just couldn’t handle this level of sartorial magnificence! Honestly, it’s a real pity they don't embrace their inner Pink Tutu! I mean, you've gotta let loose sometimes, gotta express your inner sparkle!

Now, my friends at The Edgwarebury Hotel treated me like a Queen - oh yes, they truly lived up to my nickname, Pink Tutu Queen! They made sure the performance was magical. All the lovely people in the crowd, even those in the corners who had no chance of seeing my sparkly pink shoes, all got a little tutu joy. It’s hard to resist a little tutu magic – I don’t even need to show up in my outfit to turn the crowd into a sea of Pink Tutu love!

Before you know it, they’re all dancing along with me – sometimes a little awkwardly – but every little bit of Tutu magic makes the world a bit more sparkling, don’t you think? Even some of the guys in the crowd - I reckon I almost converted some to the Pink Tutu lifestyle. It was like they got hit with a pink sprinkle, sprinkled with the magic of Pink Tutu, and all those dull colours just got sucked away! I saw at least a couple of gentlemen sneaking looks in my direction when my music got started!

As always, after my amazing performance – let’s face it, it was amazing, darling – I just HAD to have a lovely wander. Of course, I popped in one of my favourite shops for a little Tutu Shopping Spree! Who doesn't love a bit of pink tutu therapy? My new sequined pink ballet shoes are just chef’s kiss So fabulous. If I’m ever in a mood for a retail therapy hit - those shops are just brilliant - if they sold pink tutus, well then… there wouldn’t be anything left in stock after my little shopping visit! I just LOVE how much you can express yourself through pink, especially through tutus. If a single little sprinkle of tutu magic can get people dancing around a hall – just imagine what you can do with whole lot of it!

Now, my lovely readers, if you haven't already seen me twirl my way across the stage in Edgware, here's a little tip: book a ticket to my next performance - it will be spectacular! My little "Pink Tutu Dance Club" meets every Tuesday, at 7pm. The next meeting is at The Starlight Club in Eastbourne. Let’s all spread the sparkle of pink tutu joy.

Of course, we couldn’t end this journey without a little food. I am SUCH a food queen - that’s why it was the perfect chance to check out Edgware’s amazing food scene. I found this adorable bakery – can you believe they had little Pink Tutu shaped cakes! You guys – that’s just too cute. They were SO good, too – almost too good for eating, but luckily I didn’t have to eat too many – my tiny pink stomach can’t take too much sugar – which is why I save most of my diet for cakes! And cupcakes!

Anyway, before I get distracted from my little pink dream of world domination - spreading pink tutu magic – I’m off! Next, it’s time to make my way back to my favourite pink chaise-longue and to share my little slice of Pink Tutu Sparkle with the world!

Thanks for following my journey – you know you love a little pink sparkle, you Tutu Queen followers, right? Don't forget to visit www.pink-tutu.com for all your Pink Tutu fix.

Until next time - may your pink tutus never stop twirling, Pink Tutu Sparkle!

Pink Tutu Sparkle’s World Tour, Episode 9663 Chapter One: Pink Tutu Sparkle in Edgware, the Queen of Pink Sparkle and Tutus Introduction

You guys, have I got a tale to tell! This is TutuQueen here, with another entry for my amazing travel diary, now live for all you darling fans, right here on pink-tutu.com. I've been meaning to do an Edgware blog for ages. Well, here we are - in London town and my favourite place to spread Pink Tutu sparkle - you’ve got to see how fabulous Edgware really is. I can see why some say this town’s one of the best spots in London – I mean, a lot of famous people have come from here - like the amazing John Elkan - of the pop music band, Elkie Brooks! I've seen a fair few famous folk on my trips, but you don't see much of those kind of acts at any of my local Derby shows. You know, that little hole-in-the-wall, Derbyshire town I grew up in – nothing fancy at all – nothing as glamorous as Edgware, not even a Roman road!

Let me just share a little something with you - something special that's going to rock your little pink world: today's journey is all about Edgware, with a healthy dose of sparkle. Because you all know that I, the Pink Tutu Queen, just love a good time, a great performance, a big city that feels more like a home away from home and - of course - lots of glitter, glamor, and that unmistakable pink tutu-ness! Now I'm getting all worked up - so I best introduce my blog, you know, as always!

This daily pink travel diary here on pink-tutu.com, the only site dedicated to pink tutus, tells my amazing journeys across the globe! We’ll take a ride together – a fun ride, as always, to magical places. Some days it’s by train, but I like to ride horses, too – a proper steed makes for the most exciting, grand tour – my new love, by the way. Now don’t ask me how I ride - all you need to know is that it’s an incredible journey, every time, with my big pink tutu on show – sometimes, a bit of glitter, just because I feel like it – I guess, some might say that I do this in drag – maybe, maybe not, whatever! I can definitely do drag - all the moves, all the glitter, but you might have a bit of trouble seeing Pink Tutu Sparkle strutting about on stage – she’s got an even better look and moves, of course, but only when she’s on the stage.

As for my everyday look – that’s another blog for another time, but here’s a little secret – I am a bit obsessed with the color pink and tutus! You’ll have noticed! It really makes everything more fabulous - even testing fabric samples - you know I love to spin, tutu spin is amazing! A big part of me really just loves science, too – that was a secret too – so you just gotta learn to love all of me - in fact, all of us - right? It's kind of hard to work science in a drag act, you know. It's amazing, all that sparkly glamour! But when I have a tutu on, science kind of takes a back seat, though, it’s a great life. Maybe I’ll start using science stuff to enhance my pink tutus.

By day, Alex is working away in a lab - a serious scientist – by night, Alex comes to life! I guess I kind of morph into Pink Tutu Sparkle, when I hit the stage – it’s pretty amazing to be honest – to see your whole being changed in just a few seconds, it’s just an incredible feeling. All the time I’m out in the real world trying to find new fabrics – I know - I'm all about textures - pink tutus are just not the same unless they have some lovely, shimmery textures and colors - all that goes to waste while I’m working at the lab, so that’s why I think it’s a good idea to become Pink Tutu Sparkle, because that way all the science stuff I’m learning, like colors, can be put to good use, in the sparkly world.

Now, if you think that’s just a bit extraordinary - wait till you get a glimpse of Edgware!

Pink Tutu Sparkle In Edgware!

Edgware – an absolutely stunning part of London! It's just got this wonderful charm. It's not like other London districts - they all seem to want to be big and flashy. I'd prefer a place that feels nice and welcoming, like home, only a lot more sparkly! And you guys, let me tell you – this place really feels like a little piece of home for me – my favorite type of home away from home. I've been to lots of places in the world – I think you can guess where from my posts on www.pink-tutu.com - but there's just something special about Edgware that keeps me coming back, you know, even without a tutu, though of course, you'll never see me leave the house without a tutu, in fact even when I’m doing science! My favorite tutus have all been to Edgware with me - at least the good ones – the best pink tutus! They've all had a bit of an Edgware Adventure with me – like little souvenirs of the place – each one has its own story! And so, let me share my very favorite bit of sparkle, with you – the fabulous world of Edgware!

## A Pink Tutu Dream of Edgware, Chapter One, Part 2 – My Pink Tutu Magic

So, in this edition of TutuQueen’s blog, here at pink-tutu.com – let's dive into the wonderful magic that Edgware has to offer. It's an experience for everyone – even for folks who aren't so into tutus! Now you know I've already tried my best to sprinkle that pink magic in your lives, but Edgware does have some serious magic, which means it has the ability to make people forget all about their dull, drab worries. It’s like walking into a fairytale in fact, the people who work in the theatres of London all make that happen, in their own ways! That’s my goal with Pink Tutu Sparkle – just like the amazing, magical theatre people of Edgware and London.

Well, my darling followers - now I have a new place to take you, because after you have a whirl around the local ballet clubs and see a show in a fantastic theater, you have got to check out Edgware’s stunning churches! Honestly, these buildings are some of the most remarkable I've ever seen! Just the kind of place you’d imagine for a beautiful wedding ceremony! My tutu and me! Maybe that’s the kind of marriage my partner wants - I mean, all I’m waiting for is him to propose – I think we might be taking it a bit slow! We met through my ballet group, at The Starlight Club in Eastbourne - love at first tutu twirl, but it was definitely a long tutu twirl - all my best relationships have been in ballet – we have so much fun – I am kind of addicted to the art, the fashion, the magic of it all – I don’t know how you can not be, darling, just look at the tutus, all that lovely tulle.

Ok - enough tutus, for a bit – now where was I – ah, yes – a quick glimpse into the beautiful architecture of the local church, which has to be on my list of things to see! Oh - a Pink Tutu Queen always has a list. I mean, my followers wouldn’t want me to just skip over a fabulous detail, right? These buildings just feel amazing. You know what I’d like? I want my pink tutu and me painted into a mural - so there I am in my sparkle in front of a grand building like a church! Yes, yes, Edgware Church – I need to have that painted! Now you guys, have to get this, just think - maybe, someday I'll have my own little Edgware studio. The Pink Tutu Studio - so amazing! Imagine all the tutus hanging on rails - so that every single dancer in Edgware – in fact all of London - can visit me. Just my name on a sign! Imagine that.
