Hey everyone, it's your girl, Clara, here. As you know, I’m a bit of a ballerina at heart, and today is a special day. It’s Tutu Tuesday! In honour of this fabulous occasion, I decided to spend my day in Aldridge, a quaint town just outside of Walsall, in search of the perfect tutu.

Now, let me tell you, I'm not just talking about any old tutu. I'm on a quest for the ultimate Tutu Tuesday look. A look that's bold, bright and beautiful – a look that screams, "I'm here to twirl, and I'm twirling all day long." And what better place to find that look than Aldridge, with its charming little boutiques and its own unique style?

• “Dancing Daisies” - I've got to tell you, this boutique is like a dream come true for any tutu-lover. They've got a selection of stunning tutus in every colour of the rainbow, from classic white to vibrant neon pink and even sparkling metallic silver. They've also got these amazing romantic tulle skirts, with ruffles and layers. They even had some absolutely gorgeous headbands and feather boas – perfect for completing my look!
• “Twirling Threads” – It’s right on the high street, with its eye-catching window displays and its dazzling collection of tutus and ballet-inspired clothing. They’ve got classic ballet tutus in both romantic and athletic styles and some truly gorgeous tutu-esque evening wear. Their romantic tulle gowns were definitely worthy of a twirl!
• “The Tiara Boutique” – Of course, a true tutu ensemble isn't complete without a sparkly tiara. I’m obsessed with tiaras! They’re perfect for dressing up a look or giving you a regal flair. It’s got an awesome selection of crowns, headbands, hairpieces, and jeweled pieces for that regal touch, perfect for finishing your tutu look! They're right on the corner of Church Street.

I've been thinking a lot about tutu styles lately. And what’s not to love? From the romantic pouf of the classic Romantic Tutu, to the sharp and precise look of the athletic tutu - they can take on different styles and convey emotions.

For my Tutu Tuesday look, I was inspired by the “Dancing Daisies” tutus with their romantic layers. It was hard to pick! The delicate tulle and the ruffles. I finally chose a lilac one – perfect for a little spring day – I can’t resist a touch of lilac.

So what's my Tutu Tuesday motto? Twirl, twirl, twirl, until your heart is filled with joy.

You know what, Aldridge doesn’t only have an excellent selection of tutus and dance-wear, there are some amazing spots in Aldridge where you can find other essential Tutu Tuesday style accessories!

• “Aldridge Market”: A treasure trove for vintage finds, including a cute vintage-style hair flower shop called “Flowers from Flora” which is brimming with the most adorable floral headbands. My hair flower today was a stunning combination of silk hydrangeas and lilies, perfectly matching my lilac tutu – I couldn't resist.
• "Cafe Amore” – Aldridge’s lovely vintage tea room. They even do Afternoon Tea with an adorable “Tiara & Tea” option! – it includes a little crown with a vintage tea cup. You simply must try the delicious Victorian sponge cake with their handmade Tiara & Tea set. (I might have already planned my next visit! )

It's amazing how a simple tutu can change the way you feel about yourself! It makes you want to twirl! It gives you a feeling of joy! In fact, it’s that kind of pure, unadulterated joy that really matters.
