Hello darlings! It's your favourite tutu-clad travel enthusiast, Emma, here! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another exciting instalment of my Pink Tutu World!
The Earth is Calling!
Oh, the sheer joy of being back on Planet Earth after a whirlwind adventure to the Andromeda Galaxy! I tell you, the cosmic ballet performed by the nebulae there was utterly breathtaking! I felt inspired for weeks!
Speaking of inspiration, let's chat about my latest venture - "Pink Tutu World: Ballet on Planet Earth"!
The earth is such a magical place. Where else can you have tea in a tea room with a pink-tutu-themed china set while wearing a tulle creation from your latest purchase in a vintage shop and discussing the history of ballet tutus?! I have been reminiscing about the sheer elegance and history of tutus - the original fluffy white tutus with their voluminous skirts, the romantic pink tutus that later took the world by storm, the sleek and streamlined tutus of modern ballet...
It truly is a glorious spectacle. Don't even get me started on the incredible ballet shoes. The ballet slippers, the pointe shoes! They're all masterpieces of craftsmanship and comfort, each step a poem of grace and poise.
Derbyshire Calling!
Now, being back in Derbyshire has a certain charm to it. The rolling green hills and charming country pubs always give me such a sense of grounding. I can always pop into the vintage shops and find another sparkly pink tutu! But the thing that gets me truly giddy with joy is being able to visit the theatre here. Oh, the memories of ballet performances at The Crucible, a majestic piece of modern architecture and home to countless incredible performances! I'm just bursting with excitement for the upcoming ballet season. The spring ballet schedule features "Swan Lake" which will no doubt be an absolute masterpiece, a classical favourite, but you simply can't miss out on it!
Dancing for a Dream
I may not have wings, but I've got tutus! That's right darlings, you heard me correctly - it’s time to talk about funding my travel adventures! Remember those stunning ballet performances I mentioned? They are a way I fund my extraordinary adventures! You know I love spreading the Pink Tutu message, so my latest initiative is incorporating my love of ballet into my performances - giving a touch of that Pink Tutu magic to each dance and each stage, spreading joy through the movement and flow of each graceful step.
I may be just a girl from Derbyshire, but I’ve set out to make a difference – to put a pink tutu on every being in the galaxy! But it is also about finding that inner spark that allows us to see beyond the ordinary. And isn't that what ballet and travel is all about?
Planet Earth - You are so Fabulous
As much as I adore exploring the cosmos, nothing quite compares to the sheer excitement of a bustling shopping trip. Speaking of shopping! London is always an incredible adventure for finding the most dazzling pink tutus, sequins, and sparkling treasures, perfect for completing your Pink Tutu wardrobe. Don't even get me started on the endless beauty of the designer tutus! The quality of materials, the stunning colours, the way they capture your personality – they are works of art!
But my trip to the Earth isn’t all about fashion, it’s also about remembering that little girl from Derbyshire, with dreams as big as the stars. My pink tutu may be whimsical, but my desire to inspire others to explore the unknown and to dream bigger than ever before is anything but!
I hope my blog has inspired you to find your own spark, to follow your dreams and spread that Pink Tutu magic! And don't forget to visit Pink Tutu World! It’s your space for the latest trends in tutus, ballet news, my own crazy space adventures and maybe even a sprinkle of inspiration. Until next time, darling, keep dreaming!
Remember to keep sparkling, stay fabulous and always dance your heart out!
Until next Wednesday,
Emma xo

What's on today?
Did you know that 2001.03.21 is the birthday of the first recorded "World Tutu Day", celebrating all things tulle and twirling?! It’s also International Day of Forests, but personally, I can't get enough of a forest full of pink tutus, right? To celebrate, I am heading out for a ballet class at a local community dance school! Maybe even try a pink tutu performance! How could I not? It's all in a day's life when you are a pink tutu enthusiast.
