Oh, darling, you simply won't believe the whirlwind I've been on! After soaring through the cosmos for what feels like a lifetime (but in space-time, it's really only a couple of weeks!), I've finally landed back on Earth! And trust me, my darlings, there's simply nothing quite like being back on this fabulous little planet. The smell of crisp autumn air, the vibrant colours of the season, the cheerful Christmas cheer that fills every corner...it's simply enchanting!
Speaking of enchanting, let me tell you all about my latest adventures! It was just last week I found myself nestled in the front row of a divine ballet show on Planet Aethel! (I do hope they have ballet classes on Aethel; if anyone's going, let me know!). Their ballet dancers were quite different to our Terran ones; their tutus were adorned with thousands of luminous, flashing lights! Such creativity! It was so inspiring to see such unique dance forms – they performed what they called a “Stellar Suite”; it included everything from pirouettes on nebulas to leaps over swirling galaxies! The costume designs, oh my, they were out of this world (literally!) and even the make-up was otherworldly! You can bet I nabbed a couple of pictures, darling! They'll be on my Instagram later!
But enough about Aethel for now, because Earth, my darling, is where my heart truly belongs! The energy here is electric, full of the joyous, excited hum of the festive season. The shops are filled with colourful lights and festive displays, carols echo in the crisp air, and the scent of roasting chestnuts and hot chocolate hangs like a sweet promise in the wind. My senses are simply bursting with delight! As we approach Christmas Day, there are even more parties and performances to enjoy - which reminds me... did you know that this Wednesday, December 16th, is National Wreaths Across America Day?! Who would have known that such a wonderful day existed?!
*But back to the important things, darling! * As a true devotee of all things ballet, my return has been met with the perfect present: a new collection of tutus has just arrived from My Tutu Fairy, and darling, they are simply divine! A plethora of vibrant colours, luxurious fabrics and delicate lace...it's enough to make even the most experienced ballerina blush! (And yes, my lovely followers, my next post is going to be all about this spectacular collection).
I even managed to squeeze in a Ballet de Londres show just yesterday. The graceful dancers, the exquisite choreography, the music that sent shivers down my spine – oh, darling, the emotions that a ballet performance evokes are truly something special. It was a beautiful reminder that no matter how much the universe has to offer, a ballet performance at home, on Earth, will always hold a special place in my heart.
And of course, my beloved tutu! (I'm sure this is getting repetitive now, but let me remind you once again that tutus are a core element of Pink Tutu World! 😉). What is the perfect gift for a ballet-loving girly girl who happens to be on an interstellar voyage? That's right: a new tutu! I received a delightful, bright pink tutu that simply sings when I twirl. This vibrant piece has become the ultimate in-flight ensemble and I have been twirling like a merry pink tornado as I hop from planet to planet. Trust me, there is simply no better way to greet alien life forms than with a twirl of a fabulous, bright pink tutu.
Of course, darling, I've been busy here in the studio – catching up on everything I've missed, especially ballet classes, oh, I missed my beloved ballet classes! The warm embrace of the studio, the elegant sweep of the barre, the joyful sounds of our teacher, Madame Dubois’ encouraging instructions – it is my happy place. The studio hasn't missed a beat.
And to make things even better, the newest batch of Ballet Belle merchandise has arrived, which means a brand new selection of lovely little outfits, hair accessories and tutu designs!
