Pink Tutu World: Intergalactic Travels to Planet Earth - Blog Post #1312

Wednesday 17th June 2020

Oh, hello darlings! Emma here, your favourite intergalactic ballerina blogger, back with another installment of my adventures in pink. Did I tell you, it's been a simply divine week, just packed to the brim with tutus and glitter and... well, I'm just overflowing with excitement! So, grab a glass of sparkling something (I'm sipping a cherry blossom mimosa, myself), settle in and get ready for a pink-tastic blast!

Landing on Planet Earth, Once Again!

This week, I landed right back here on Planet Earth! Honestly, sometimes I miss the sparkling air of Venus and the gravity-defying acrobatics we can achieve on Jupiter, but nothing compares to the atmosphere here on Earth, especially when I'm heading to the London Palladium for a magnificent performance of 'Swan Lake'! Oh my! I do adore that ballet. And, it goes without saying, I sported a spectacular pink tulle creation - naturally! The colour really set off the beauty of the performance and all the ladies seemed to be admiring the sheer delight of my fluffy layers! I just adore seeing people dressed up, going for the glitz and glamour and expressing their individual style!

I confess, even before my trip to London, this week had a wonderfully exciting start. I just adored the recent launch of my new tutus on PinkTutu.com. They were a special edition collection called "The Cosmic Dream". And let me tell you, they were everything and more! Each tulle skirt was adorned with hand-painted stardust patterns, the colors were out of this world - a celestial kaleidoscope! The response has been simply divine! My intergalactic fans have been swooning over them! And for you fellow Earth-dwellers, they're still available for pre-order! You heard that right, a cosmic dream tutu is only a click away, just hop over to PinkTutu.com to join the pink parade.

The Earthly Charm

The day before my grand trip to London, I had the absolute pleasure of attending a stunning ballet show in my hometown, Derby. You see, here on Earth, we still hold traditional dances that celebrate the heritage of our cultures and it truly warmed my heart. I've got to say, these dancers were incredible - every twirl and leap just oozed grace and power! And did I mention, the colours on the costumes? It was a dazzling display of feathers, sequins and silk. I was blown away! This was definitely an "Emma" event! You could even say that Derby's history inspired some of my latest pink tutu designs! They have some wonderful old Victorian architecture - which in turn is full of intricate lace and embroidery - so a whole range of colours and fabrics came to mind... a delicious mix of elegance and femininity.

A Ballet-Lovers Dream!

Speaking of traditional ballet, you know I couldn't resist popping into my favourite ballet class after my visit to the London Palladium! I had a lovely afternoon at my local Dance School - such a joy, truly. And I absolutely love that there's so much ballet history here on Earth, it really feels like you're tracing a path through centuries of beautiful art forms. And I think ballet history goes hand-in-hand with tutu history! You know I had to spend an afternoon at the Victoria & Albert Museum here in London. They have a breathtaking collection of costumes, and let me tell you, the tutus - they're simply heavenly!

The Pink Power: Inspiration

You see, there is a truly special joy, and power, in being feminine. I just love expressing it and seeing others embrace it too. We're talking pink dresses, shimmery shoes, delicate jewelry, beautiful makeup, the joy of dancing and twirling and of course, tutus, tutus galore! They say pink is the colour of femininity and strength. I am definitely all about expressing femininity in a powerful, bright and empowering way, in every way that I can, and I would love for my pink tutu collection to be seen all around the universe, whether its dancing across the stage, sparkling at a celestial ball, or being worn as everyday attire! I believe in spreading the pink-tastic message of joy, laughter and good cheer to every corner of our galaxy and beyond! And that includes encouraging every single one of you to put on your fanciest pink outfit and show the universe what you've got. You know, sometimes we just have to remind ourselves how fun, strong, and beautiful we are.

Keeping the Dream Alive

You know, my whole mission is to bring a touch of pink and sparkle to the universe! Because, let's be honest, a little bit of pink goes a long way. Whether it's twirling on the dance floor, exploring the Milky Way, or just making the world a bit brighter - tutus are simply the best!

And now for a quick update from my dear friends on Venus - the air is thick with the sweet scent of wildflowers, and everyone's preparing for the annual "Cosmic Ball," an event they've been prepping for all year. Oh, you just have to see the extravagant decorations! There's no room for doubt that this ball will be one to remember! I have already designed a very special pink tutu outfit, and am just dying to show off the new planetary design and shimmering detail. I hear they’re doing their make-up in cosmic shades - purples and greens inspired by their very own Nebula and some of their gorgeous starry night skies! But you know I love the pop of pink to tie the look together. Oh, they look stunning - you just have to love those venusians!

And with all this lovely inspiration buzzing around me, I feel so energised! Who knows where my next adventures in pink might take me? Maybe to the swirling vortexes of Saturn or the icy realms of Uranus. It's certainly never dull in the Pink Tutu World. But one thing is certain: the pink will keep on flowing, the tutus will keep on twirling, and my adventures, well they will just continue to take off - even with a slight delay on my spaceships! Because I must admit - I still can’t master the navigation software that these Venusian engineers created. All very well and good with its pink lights and glowing symbols, but the instructions seem so complex to my simple earth-bound mind! Oh, you just have to laugh.

Till next Wednesday darlings! Keep spreading that pink love.

Love, Emma xx
