Hello my lovely pink tutu-wearing friends! It's Wednesday again, and you know what that means - another Pink Tutu World blog post for your delightful eyes!
I'm so excited to share with you all about my latest adventure, a whirlwind tour of Planet Earth. It's not often that I have the chance to venture to such a beautiful and intriguing place! I truly feel like a ballerina travelling back in time, embracing the history and vibrant cultures of our humble, yet awe-inspiring planet!
I'm currently nestled in my favourite London hotel, overlooking a rather quaint cobbled street. The only thing more delightful than the Victorian charm of my hotel suite is the incredible spread of delectable treats in the complimentary "Afternoon Tea" box on my desk! I know you'll all understand when I say, it's truly an absolute joy to indulge in a delightful afternoon treat, especially in a place that smells so divine of lavender and fresh-baked cake!
I'm here for the week, to soak in the wonders of this earthly metropolis! My latest performance for a lovely ballet-loving philanthropist is funding this rather wonderful trip. What's truly great is that my performance is at The Royal Opera House! Can you believe it?
My mission for the week: "Ballet on Planet Earth". Of course, that also translates to an extra-long "shopping spree" agenda. We wouldn't want to come all this way and not have the full "Pink Tutu" experience now, would we?
This weekend, I'm headed to the V&A to view their absolutely gorgeous ballet exhibit - "Dancing for Life." It seems so strange that this wondrous planet hasn't taken my advice yet and incorporated "tutus for everyone" into everyday life. A beautiful outfit isn't just a performance item - it's an expression of oneself. Just like tutus!
Speaking of tutus! They are my main attraction. This past week, I've been doing my usual online shopping sprees. So many gorgeous new tutu designs are available on Planet Earth! I mean, come on... who could resist a lovely lilac tutu, or perhaps something a little more dramatic in crimson? I have just enough room in my "galactic carry-on bag" for an extra ten or so... maybe even more...
This Saturday, after the V&A, I plan to take an enchanting afternoon stroll through Hyde Park. It's been ages since I enjoyed a peaceful park walk with the local bird song. I adore watching how nature inspires some of Earth's most famous ballerinas. Their movements flow so freely!
Next Sunday, I'll attend a gorgeous performance at the world-renowned English National Ballet, located at The London Coliseum. Can you believe this? The dancers in this theatre perform the most exquisite choreography! Their movements are an incredible feat of art and athleticism - truly something magical to witness.
For the rest of my trip, I am enjoying every delightful morsel, breathtaking ballet performance, and enchanting shop this wonderful Earthly metropolis has to offer! The Earth really is an awe-inspiring planet and I'm so glad to share all of this with you!
It's definitely an honour and a joy to experience all that our Earthly home has to offer! I promise to keep you all updated on my adventures throughout this wonderful trip. I've already collected so many lovely stories and stunning images that I can't wait to share them with you.
Until next week, darlings, don't forget to twirl with all the love you have in your heart!
Xoxo

Behind the scenes...And there you have it! My blog post for today. I've been hard at work on this since yesterday morning. As you may know, I post every Wednesday. So I spend most of the Tuesday, before my weekly post, doing the behind-the-scenes prep work for my post. There is a lot of information about the history of dance on this planet, I love digging through the information about history, fashion, and theatre!
What's wonderful about all this research is that it inspires me so much in my life as a ballerina and fashion enthusiast. I mean, who wouldn't be thrilled by the thought of ancient Greek ballerinas dancing on this planet? Talk about inspiration! My imagination loves imagining them in delicate, flowing pink tutus with an elegant swirl of shimmering purple satin fabric! The image is pure delight to me.
Another big part of my Wednesday post is doing some amazing Earthly-style shopping. The most fun about the shops here on the planet is they actually allow physical interaction! I can go in and touch, and smell, and try on all of the lovely designs. I don't just have to imagine a dress, like in my virtual reality system back in my spaceship. That was rather frustrating!
It's really quite something to imagine the future of Earth's ballet world. There are some truly talented designers creating the most beautiful things here on this planet. You'll love the vibrant colours and innovative design themes of the ballet garments in my favourite boutique shops here in London.
Oh my goodness... now I really must sign off, I need to head out the door to grab lunch. The best fish and chips I've had so far are waiting for me just a stone's throw from my hotel suite! The little fishmonger across the street told me to try his fresh fish. He's absolutely right, it's divine! I have a big show tomorrow - it's at The Royal Opera House and it is a very special evening.
And as always - you'll find my travel outfits on my online "Look Book". They all have a delicate hint of pink, just for you, my dearest friends.
See you next Wednesday for more adventures, darling!
### Some of my highlights of planet Earth...
Day 1 - Arriving in London. I got to travel in the new flying car that arrived from Mars! The technology on this planet is certainly evolving rapidly - something we might need to focus on back on my home planet... Day 2 - Visit to Buckingham Palace. The change of the guards ceremony was an awe-inspiring sight to see! The uniforms they wear are certainly elegant...and I must say, they really inspired me to wear more red! I'm thinking about red tutus now - a stunning idea, don't you think? Day 3 - Shopping for Tutus in London. You will never find a more eclectic collection of tutus! From classic designs, to something slightly more...interesting... I found so much for my wardrobe! Oh, and it turns out a lot of humans wear tutus here too - on the street! There's a beautiful "vintage" boutique that I found, where I purchased a lovely cream, feather-trimmed tutu... my dream to see the whole planet wearing tutus might just come true. The shops are even making tutus in new colours now, and not just pink! What's a girl to do... so much to buy! Day 4 - Visit to the Theatre Royal. Another spectacular performance with elegant design. The costuming on Earth is so interesting! It certainly reminds me that our planet is bursting with creativity. I must admit, this planet needs some encouragement - but you already know my vision! Day 5 - Back to the shop! A day off from dancing allows me to visit my favourite shops. The creativity of the people of Earth inspires me, but it seems to lack a little colour. I mean, a world filled with the vibrant pinks of tutus? That's my dream. That is the kind of world I aim for - a planet of tutus for everyone! Day 6 - The V&A. So much stunning history about dance, and I absolutely must add that they were so nice to lend me one of their tutus! Oh, they thought it was for a special occasion for me, but in my heart, it was always for all my Pink Tutu followers, of course! A moment for all! The exhibition is about ballet in art. Very inspiring, I must say, all this culture of "dancing". It does have a kind of universal appeal, I've noticed... Day 7 - "Afternoon Tea" at my Hotel. The view over this park from my window... breathtaking! I really must say - the British on this planet are excellent tea makers. And they understand the beauty of afternoon tea. Day 8 - Return home. I love spending time on Planet Earth! What I love most about it is the history! There's so much to discover! But don't worry - my mission to encourage everyone to wear a tutu will continue... it must come true. I will inspire all of us to live life in a Pink Tutu!
Thoughts from the heart of a pink tutuThe amazing energy I feel on this planet is simply captivating! The beauty, the history, and the culture - it truly brings every single cell in my body to life! A bit like an electric current running through me - and what makes it even more wonderful is that I can feel all of you sharing it with me!
Just imagine how much joy we'd all feel if this whole universe had pink tutus! Now that is something to be truly thrilled about! It's my mission to make that dream come true, and what makes my travels so rewarding is to know that my dear readers all share my joy. I love the inspiration that Planet Earth has to offer!
As always, you're invited to comment with your thoughts, your insights, and of course, your dance inspiration! What have you been inspired by lately? What stories or dance steps have captured your heart and imagination? I am absolutely dying to hear about them!
Until next week, darling, don't forget to wear your pink tutu and dream big.
