Bonjour, my dearest tutu-loving friends! It's Emma, back from a whirlwind trip on the Eurostar to Paris, the city of love, croissants, and of course, the pinkest tutus imaginable! I just have to share the magical experience of my latest adventure with you all.
As always, a trip to Paris is never complete without a visit to a ballet performance. This week, I saw The Sleeping Beauty at the Palais Garnier Opera House. The setting was absolutely breathtaking! All those chandeliers and ornate details! The performance itself was utterly magical. The ballerinas glided with such grace and beauty, I was completely transported. And of course, I couldn't resist getting my picture taken in front of the Opera House with my pinkest tutu on, it wouldn't be a Pink Tutu Paris trip without it! 😉
My favourite thing about Paris is its rich history. From the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre Museum, you can feel the presence of the past everywhere you go. I spent the day at the Louvre, marveling at the Mona Lisa and wandering through the various galleries. Honestly, you could spend a week in this museum alone and still not see it all!
Fashionista Finds!
No trip to Paris is complete without some serious shopping! The city is a haven for fashionistas, and I made sure to visit all the must-see stores, including Galeries Lafayette, Printemps Haussmann, and the Saint Germain-des-Prés boutiques. Let me tell you, they absolutely spoiled me with an array of colours, fabrics, and designs, all ready to tempt my fashion senses! I snagged a stunning floral silk scarf that would look amazing paired with a tutu, naturally! 💖
Food and Wine, Oh La La!
Paris is a foodie's paradise! From charming bistros to fine-dining restaurants, there's something to tantalise every taste bud. I fell head-over-heels for the delectable French cuisine. Every meal felt like a luxurious feast. Of course, no trip is complete without indulging in those melt-in-your-mouth macarons, tres magnifique!
Back to the Ballet
After a long day of exploring, there's nothing I love more than ending the evening at a ballet class. Paris is a dream for a ballerina - they have amazing classes throughout the city. The instructors are talented and knowledgeable, and they pushed me to refine my technique and explore my artistry. This is how I've managed to fund my many Parisian trips, by performing for local theatres, so this week, I'll be taking a small class and seeing what kind of performance opportunity is available!
Life is Pink in Paris!

- Thursday 2026-06-11: Experienced a beautiful ballet class at a charming studio in Saint Germain-des-Pres. My skills are getting so much better with every class!
- Friday 2026-06-12: Headed to Montmartre for a romantic stroll through its cobblestone streets. And you wouldn't believe the sunset! It looked like something straight out of a movie!
