Pink Tutu Rome: Wednesday 2026-04-29 - #1612

Ciao bellas! It's Emma here, back from the eternal city, Rome! This week, I'm positively brimming with pink-hued memories and tales from my adventures.

A Train Journey, A Pink Tutu, And A Big Smile:

Now, you all know I'm a big fan of the train, don't you? The journey from Florence to Rome was a joy! I embraced the Italian countryside views and the romantic vibe. What else could a girl ask for? Well, maybe a little slice of Italian ricotta cheesecake and a spot of sunshine to accompany my pink tulle skirt!

Rome, You Make My Heart Twirl:

Landing in Rome was a whirlwind of excitement. Firstly, I popped on my latest acquisition: a brand-new, dazzling pink tutu that sparkles in the sunshine. Imagine the feeling of that tulle as I twirled into the historic centre. Let's just say it turned heads – everyone was positively mesmerised by the pink flash!

Roman Revelations & Pink Princess Dressing

We strolled through the iconic Piazza Navona. The marble fountains and artistic chaos truly took my breath away. It felt like a set from a ballet! I’ve decided, Rome is like the most magnificent stage. Every street, every fountain, every cobbled alleyway screams drama, excitement, and artistry. And, let's not forget about the food! I swear the Romans understand the joy of a delicious carb-loaded pasta.

I know you girls love a fashion fix, and I did too! I picked up some stunning lace and velvet dresses, and naturally, a blush-pink beaded bag to carry all my Italian delights. Shopping is truly a ballet in its own right, and in Rome, it's like a grand, graceful pas de deux.

The Ballet Ball: A Night of Romance and Grace

On Wednesday evening, it was off to the Opera House to see the Rome Ballet Company perform Giselle. Now, you guys know I'm a ballet enthusiast, and this performance was incredible. The stage was ablaze with a vibrant pink lighting design – perfect for my tulle skirt, which I proudly sported amongst the tuxedo-clad gentlemen.

There’s a reason everyone talks about Italian romance; there's just something special about watching ballet under the Florentine moon. I got a little teary-eyed at the tragic finale, which left me longing to express myself on the stage with the same grace and artistry.

More Than Just a City: It's a Pink Paradise

As the days unfold, I’m going to be exploring more of Rome, finding hidden gems, experiencing the magic of a pizza made in a wood-fired oven, and embracing the infectious joie de vivre. Of course, I'll be bringing my pink tulle skirts with me everywhere, hoping to inspire a pink tutu revolution across the city. Who knows, perhaps next week's blog will be filled with pink-clad Romans!

Stay tuned, my lovely tutu-loving friends. This Italian escapade is only just beginning, and there's plenty more pink in store.

Until next Wednesday, keep twirling!

Love, Emma
