Now, let me tell you, travelling to Rotherham was an experience. Let's just say that my trusty steed, the Orient Express (well, okay, maybe it wasn't the actual Orient Express, more a charming and rather noisy train) wasn't exactly known for its grace. It reminded me a bit of that wobbly horse I used to ride as a kid (who I called āSparkleā by the way - can you tell I was destined for drag?) But that's all part of the fun, isnāt it? The journey, darling, not just the destination.
I gotta tell you, it feels SO good to be back on the road, spreading the pink love! For this queen, thereās no place Iād rather be than touring those beautiful towns and cities up and down the country.

Honestly, there's nothing I love more than pulling up in my custom-made tutu (with the obligatory glitter, naturally), my makeup box on full blast, and performing my little heart out for audiences of all ages and tastes.
And trust me, you would not believe the array of venues I've graced with my sparkly presence. One night it might be a glamorous nightclub, and the next it might be the town square of a sleepy seaside village. (Speaking of seaside towns, remember that time I had to perform for the "Seashells and Sequins" beauty contest? Oh the drama!) I mean, how else would I reach everyone? My aim, after all, is to spread the word about the wonder of tutus and how wearing a pink one just brightens up your day! It's not just about looking fabulous; itās about embracing your inner sparkle, darlings!
My latest escapade to Rotherham had me rocking out at the local community hall for "Family Fun Day". (Honestly, these family fun days are becoming some of my favourite venues! The little ones have the best time dancing, and I always manage to win a few hearts - and a handful of gummy bears! You canāt resist this sparkly queen!)
So, hereās what went down:
First things first, I always try to arrive in style, you know. It's not about the destination but how you get there, right? So, in I walked with a big smile, my gorgeous pink tulle gown swirling around my feet, and enough sparkles to blind a hummingbird (and maybe even the mayor!). The crowd went wild.
Now, I might be a science-loving geek by day (a secret many donāt know! Working in a fabric lab is all very glam!), but the moment I step onto that stage, I become the ultimate glam rock princess. My performance had them clapping, singing, and doing the āTutu Shuffle" along with me! The smiles, the cheers ā it warmed my heart even more than my rhinestoned tiara!

What's amazing, though, is the effect it has on people. Seeing kids get all excited to learn a simple dance routine, even the most reserved grandma getting down to a glitter-bomb pop tune, and grown men giggling while holding up sparklers ā there's truly something magical about this pink-tutu world, isn't there?
One thing I can never get over, my lovelies, is how a simple piece of fabric can inspire such joy. Ever since that uni ballet club charity performance when I first tried on a tutu, I realised its true potential: it was an absolute show stopper, making everyone laugh and feel fabulous. From there, my journey as Pink Tutu Sparkles began.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg! From dancing on street corners to strutting my stuff in packed theaters (I just got an email to perform for a special production in London! I am so excited!), there's always something new happening.
